Secure PDF Viewer
This is the PDF viewer that allows users to view your protected file.
It enforces your document permissions for each unique file. All files
protected by File Secure Pro must be viewed with this PDF viewer. If the
user does not have this already installed on their PC, when they first
attempt to open your protected file, they will automatically download
and install the viewer.

is the Complete Registration Process |

- The user is forwarded to the secure registration
page by your payment system or from an authorized
web site.
- They enter their Name and Email address.
- This data is entered into the File Secure
Pro database and the customer is instantly
sent a confirmation email which contains a
download link to the file and their unique
Password Key.
- The user clicks the download link to begin
the file download.
- Once the download is complete the file
automatically checks for the presence of the
FS PDF Viewer. If it is not found on the user's
PC, it will then be automatically downloaded
and installed.
- Immediately after the Viewer is downloaded
and installed, the user is presented with
the Password Key Entry Box.
- Once they enter the Password Key, they
will be asked to enter some additional registration
information. This is optional and can be modified
by you.
- After the registration data has been entered,
the Viewer will verify that the user is authorized
to access the file and the file will open.
If the user is not authorized, the file will
not open.
Each subsequent time the user opens the file,
they do not need to enter any further information.
They simply click on the file and then choose
OPEN. The file will check for authorization
each time and will not open for unauthorized
users.

As you may already know, the viewer allows
you to Broadcast
Messages to the user. These messages
are displayed when the user opens the file.
All new messages will pop up as the user opens
the file. Previously viewed or old messages
will be stored in the message area and can be
viewed by the user by clicking on the file and
then clicking the MESSAGES button. If a file
is locked or expired, the user will no longer
be able to access the messages.

Unregister |
This option allows the user to move
the file to a different computer.
It does this by allowing the user to UNREGISTER
the file password key and then registering it
again at another location. Note that you can
disable or enable this option as needed. If
disabled, the user will not be able to move
the file. When a file is unregistered and then
registered again, it does not change the expiration
period or security
settings of the file.
